The attachment system on the harness is rock-solid—I didn't feel a single bounce even while scrambling over boulders. Having the water right on my chest made drinking so easy I actually stayed hydrated for the whole afternoon.

Took this on a 12-mile ridge hike and barely noticed the weight, which is exactly what I wanted from a pack-mounted flask. The harness attachment stayed put even when I was scrambling over rocks. Drinking on the move without stopping to dig through my bag is a game changer.

Clipping this to my pack harness kept me from stopping on a steep climb, which is exactly what I wanted. The 500ml size lasts about two hours of steady hiking, and it stays put even when I'm scrambling.
